2009 Brabus Mercedes Benz GLK V12


With a top speed of 322.3 km/h (200.3 mph) the Brabus Mercedes-Benz GLK V12 has set a new speed record for street-legal SUVs on the Italian high-speed test track on October 19th, 2009. The exclusive special model, powered by a twelve-cylinder twin turbo engine with 750 hp (740 bhp) / 552 kW, celebrates its world debut at the Dubai International Motor Show. Brabus builds this high-performance automobile based on the Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class. The Brabus GLK V12 starts at 397,000 Euros MSRP.


The new Brabus SV12 R Biturbo 750 engine was implanted in the small engine bay of the GLK with meticulous precision. The engineers and technicians drew upon their experience and know-how gathered from the development and production of the special model Brabus Bullit, based on the latest Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

The displacement engine, lubricated exclusively with ARAL Synthetic motor oil, delivers 750 hp (740 bhp) / 552 kW at 5,500 rpm and produces a peak torque of 1,350 Nm (995 lb-ft) at 2,100 rpm, limited in the car electronically to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft).


To achieve this kind of performance, the engine - based on the latest Mercedes 600 twelve-cylinder engine - was completely re-engineered in the Brabus engine department. Displacement is increased from 5.5 to 6.3 liters with the help of a special crankshaft, larger cylinder bore, special pistons and piston rods. In addition the three-valve heads are precision-machined and fitted with special camshafts.


2010 Model Introducing for Range Rover Sport Supercharged


Land Rover has unveiled the new Range Rover Sport Supercharged for the 2010 model year. The Range Rover Sport comes with two powerful and efficient new engines, the LR-TDV6 diesel and LR-V8 5.0-litre supercharged. The 5.0-litre LR-V8 supercharged petrol engine is all-new and designed by the Jaguar Land Rover power train team. This engine was developed to deliver a smooth, refined and responsive driver experience, producing an impressive 510 PS and 625 Nm of torque. Outstanding performance is combined with superior fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions. Compared with the outgoing unit, fuel utilization has been reduced by 6.2 per cent, with a corresponding reduction in CO2 levels.


An inclusive programmed of chassis system modifications has transformed the Range Rover Sport's on-road dynamics, while also delivering a substantial improvement in its off-road capabilities. Both the diesel and petrol engines feature a deeper sump to accommodate the extreme tilting angles to which the Range Rover Sport may be subjected off-road. In addition, belt drives are waterproofed, as are the alternator, air conditioning compressor, power steering pump and starter motor.

The Range Rover Sport Supercharged also comes with striking signature LED headlamps combine with a new two-bar grille, front bumpers and wings to create a more sporting and aerodynamic stance. At the rear, new light clusters and a revised bumper design mirror the smoother front end.

Aston Martin Lagonda


The Aston Martin Lagonda Concept celebrates 100 years of car production under the Lagonda brand, a stunning contemporary evolution of this evocative name.

The modern Lagonda marries functionalism with luxury, through organic forms, rich materials and complex surfaces. The car is based on an advanced platform that is tailored to accommodate a broad range of future power trains, including flex fuel, low emission diesel and hybrid systems.


The Aston Martin Lagonda Concept is a four-seat international toured, an avant-garde luxury car that draws inspiration from the brand's illustrious past as well as the visual language of speedboat design, the spacious individualist environment of the upper class cabin and the bespoke feel of contemporary modern furniture. Inside, the four generous seats are divided into two zones, front and rear. The result is a relaxed, rich environment that envelops you in warm, tactile materials.


Marek Reichman, Aston Martin's Director of Design, describes the Aston Martin Lagonda Concept's design language as a fusion of fluid shapes mixed with hard, constructed lines. This organic, emotional approach eschews upright surfaces in favor of broad, flowing bodywork around the spacious passenger cabin.

The clear delineation between cabin, shoulder and flank is strongly reminiscent of the powerful and evocative lines of the 1930s era Lagondas, in particular the V12-engined version of the LG6. Viewed from the front of the concept, the deep, strong grille also evokes the presence and frontage of the cars from the inter-war era. The bold character lines that run along the sculpted flanks to the rear ensure the concept is planted firmly on the road. The large 22" wheels and cut-away bodywork offer exceptional ground clearance, while the concept's V12 engine delivers power through all four wheels.

A modern automotive brand must have strong core values and a broad range of abilities. The modern Lagonda will be the pre-eminent long-distance automobile, a vehicle that combines cosseting luxury with extreme functionality and technological innovation.


The Lagonda name has been an integral part of the Aston Martin story since 1947. 2010 Novitec Rosso Ferrari California


Novitec Rosso has unconfined their sporty styling and recital wrap up for the new Ferrari California. The Novitec Rosso Ferrari California comes with a custom-tailored tire/wheel combination with diameters of 21 and 22 inches, postponement modifications, more power and exclusive interior options. The Ferrari California 4.3-liter V8 engine power increases by 40 hp / 29.4 kW to 500 hp / 368 kW. All together peak torque grows from 485 to 518 Nm at 5,300 rpm.

Three-piece NOVITEC ROSSO NF3 wheels also play a major role in the even more stunning appearance of the refined Ferrari. By choosing a staggered combination of size 9Jx21 wheels in front and size 11.5Jx22 on the rear axle NOVITEC ROSSO further emphasizes the wedge shape of the car.

Technology partner Pirelli supplies high-performance tires custom-tailored to this Ferrari. The front axle features tires in size 255/30 ZR 21. In the rear tires in size 315/25 ZR 22 provide optimal traction.

2011 Dacia Duster


The Dacia Duster project was born out of the easy hypothesis that a real need existed in the world for an affordable, comfy and rugged 4x4, a class which is currently not well served. Aware of this gap, the Renault group decided to develop an all-terrain vehicle aimed initially at emerging markets. The needs of European customers were also taken into account from the project outset.

In emerging markets (Russia, Brazil, etc.), the middle classes aspire to owning a modern car that reflects their social status. At the same time, they want a strong car that is reliable, versatile and capable of standing up to climatic demands and conditions that can be both tough and varied (long distances, difficult terrain, and use in large built-up areas). The current offer is largely dominated by imported SUVs, which are often priced beyond the means of these middle classes.


In Europe, Dacia's success has highlighted the demand for modern, reliable and affordable cars. Although the current range of 4x4s and SUVs is quite extensive, it neglects the call for a functional, affordable all-terrain vehicle, favoring instead SUVs that are expensive and often ill-suited to the needs of off-road driving.


Indisputable 4x4 looks…

At first look, Dacia Duster is clearly a 4x4. Its front end exudes a sense of ruggedness, with its imposing chrome grille and sump guard also pointing to its clear 4x4 credentials. Seen in profile, its high ground clearance, wide wheel arches and body protection are an open invitation to take on even the toughest surfaces.


Today's all-terrain vehicles are often synonymous with bulk, a preconception which Dacia Duster sweeps aside. Being 4.31 meters long and 1.82 meters wide, Dacia Duster is very compact, making it as at home in built-up areas as it is when taken off the beaten track. Although it clearly demonstrates that it belongs to the world of all-terrain motoring, Dacia Duster boasts attractive, yet not ostentatious lines.

2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class 4Matic


With snow, sleet, freezing fog, black ice, and temperatures perched around zero and severe frosts, the winter months hold some unpleasant road conditions in store for drivers. Despite these impediments, however, drivers of Mercedes models equipped with the 4MATIC permanent all-wheel-drive system can set off for the daily commute to work or savor the drive to the next winter wonderland with complete peace of mind. This is because the 4MATIC drive concept boasts fearsome performance on snow-covered or icy roads. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class 4MATIC in particular stands out for its blend of high traction reserves, excellent directional stability, peerless safety and exceptional comfort levels. Mercedes-Benz is demonstrating the capabilities of the Saloon and Estate models by staging a 4MATIC Workshop in extreme winter conditions on the Timeslot high alpine road in Austria.


As with the 4MATIC system's set-up on a dry or wet road, directional stability and, therefore, active safety are paramount at all times when wintry conditions succeed, too. The mechanical principle of the 4MATIC system, featuring a 45:55 torque split between the front and rear axles and a multi-disc limited-slip centre differential with a basic locking torque of 50 Nm, offers all the right ingredients. This basic design enables high levels of traction, as the dynamic shift in axle load toward the rear axle that occurs during acceleration is harnessed to deliver more drive torque to the rear wheels.


However, the multi-disc differential lock is also able to shift the drive torque between the front and rear axles, varying the split between 30:70 and 70:30 as the road conditions dictate. Consequently, intervention by the ESP, 4ETS or ASR electronic control systems can be delayed for as long as possible and the bulk of the drive torque converted into attractive power, even on slippery roads. All control system interventions go virtually unnoticed, yet drivers still know straight away if they are driving on the limit: in such instances, a yellow warning symbol flashes in the instrument cluster as a highly visible prompt to adapt their driving style to the road conditions.


The drive mechanism's permanently engaged design offers key advantages over other systems that first need to diagnose a lack of grip before activating the 4x4 drive. The 4MATIC on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class will have already made use of this valuable time to start transmitting drive torque via the wheels to the road.

2010 Infiniti G37


2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan features revised external styling, an enhanced interior treatment and upgraded technology features. Most of the enhancements, except for the exterior refinements, are also available on the 2010 G37 Coupe and recently introduced G37 adaptable. 2010 G buyers have a range of four well-equipped models to choose from - G37 Sedan, G37 Sedan Journey, G37S Sedan Sport 6MT and G37x Sedan AWD. All 2010 models receive a revised rear fascia with an improved exhaust finisher treatment. G37, G37 Journey and G37x AWD models feature a new 17-inch 5-spoke "triple forks" aluminum-alloy wheel design.


All 2010 G Sedans are prepared with a refined 328-horsepower 3.7-liter VVEL V6. A 7-speed automatic transmission is standard on all models except the G37 Sport 6MT, which, as suitable for a cutting-edge performance sports sedan, comes with a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Rated at 328 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, the engine's VVEL system combines hydraulic-controlled variable valve timing and electronically controlled variable valve lift on the intake side to help improve performance and response. The VVEL system also offers improved emissions and fuel efficiency over the non-VVEL designs. The VVEL intake camshafts, featuring endlessly variable lift control teamed with the Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS), allow for a 7,600 rpm redline.


The 2010 G37 features a new standard 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design with P225/55R17 tires. Larger 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and P225/50R18 front and P245/45R18 rear W-rated tires are standard on the G37 Sport 6MT and Sport Package-equipped G37 Journey models. A Performance Tire & Wheel Package with 18-inch wheel and P225/50R18 front and rear all-season tires is also available on the G37 Journey (non-Sport Package) and G37x AWD.


The 2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan is available in four models – G37, G37 Journey, G37x AWD and G37 Sport 6MT.
