The New ABT AS8 Audi A8 (2011)
Even though just been released by Audi, ABT Sport sline is already presenting its edition of the new premium limousine A8, the AS8. The ABT AS8 has been optimized to meet the high demands of its drivers.
Initially, the potent turbo diesel with a 4.2 liter cubic capacity has had its performance better, and other versions will follow soon. The sequence standard 350HP (257kW) is raised by ABT to 385HP (283kW). As a result, the torque of this modern diesel engine is 880 Nm (series standard: 800 Nm).
The elegant-sporty car from Kempten also knows how to impress optically. To realize it, ABT presets the ABT aerodynamics that covers the front spoiler, side sills, the rear aprons with the tailpipe cover and the three-piece rear spoiler. To harmonize, ABT AS8 also presents the new ABT CR alloys, which is obtainable in expressive 20 and 21 inch sizes. This is particularly the case in mixture with the phantom-black coating.
