2010 Citroen DS3 Racing Model
The Citroen DS3 Racing Limited version, the winning team behind five WRC manufacturer's titles and six driver's titles for Sebastian Loeb and Daniel Elena, is going to be unleashing at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. This new Citroen DS3, the limited edition 200hp DS3 developed by Citroen Racing, is completed with some important developments on the steadiness and dynamic control.
To achieve supplementary power output from 156hp to 200hp, increase almost 30% over the standard unit, Citroen have modified and optimized DS3's power train components, tuned the recital of the turbo, and adjusted the mapping of the engine control unit.
Some important sporting improvements have also been conducted, this includes creating more exact steering with the control system modified for the new tires, the fitment of stiffer suspension springs, adapting front and rear shock absorbers, lowering the car, and widening the front and rear tracks. In addition, the ESP has also been adapted for enhanced control.
Production of Citroen DS3 Racing limited editions will be finished in a special workshop and fitted with a parts kit. The production will be limited to just 1000 units and is planned for the second half of 2010.
